Quality of Community Life

Waiver/Supported Living Services: Individuals may be eligible to receive support services up to and including 24 hours a day through DOE, Medicaid waivers and/or supported living programs. Globe Star shall help Individuals to find optimum living arrangements in line with their income. Individuals are usually encouraged to find other individuals that they can live with to maximize their resources. In-home supports are designed to meet the Individual’s needs, including home management, community living activities, and social skill enhancement.

Respite: These services are given to Individuals unable to care for themselves and are provided on a short-term basis because of the absence or need for relief of those persons normally providing care.

Residential Habilitation and Support: These services are an integrated array of individually-tailored supports furnished to eligible recipients, to assist them in residing successfully in their own home, with their families, or in supported-living arrangements.

Day Services : These services entail the provision of regularly scheduled activities, apart from an Individual’s living arrangement, which focus on enhancing social development and teaching daily-living and community-living skills.
