Globe Star Café – The Café with a Mission 
The Globe Star Café is a café located within the Federal Courthouse in Hammond, Indiana. The Café is staffed and operated by Globe Star, LLC. The mission of the Café is to provide an opportunity for the individuals Globe Star serves to gain community work experience. The Café is open daily Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and is open to the employees of the Federal Building as well as the public.
The Café serves both breakfast and lunch menu items. Breakfast includes eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, bagels, danishes, yogurt, fresh fruit, and muffins, just to name a few. For lunch the choices include fresh deli sandwiches, grill items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, and grilled chicken breast sandwiches, and a daily salad bar. All breakfast and lunch items are made to order.

The Globe Star Café offers a daily homemade meal special as well, which includes an entrée and two side dishes. In addition, two homemade soups are offered daily.
